Bunnings

Blue Mountains Concert Band and our youth band, Mountains Youth Band, joined forces in April 2022 to blow away the cobwebs and perform a community concert.  Our venue, Bunnings at Penrith, was acoustically spectacular.  You could hear the band from the other end of the store!

We were part of an Easter activity for the store and even had a visit from the Easter Bunny who ‘assisted’ our conductor, Garry Clark, to direct our performance of Jupiter from The Planets.

It may have been an unusual venue, but we really enjoyed being able to perform again in public and give shoppers the opportunity to hear some great music, including Can-Can, Baby Elephant Walk and one of our old favourites, There’s No Business Like Show Business.

We are grateful to Bunnings for their support, and look forward to returning for another concert later in the year.
